A child is in critical condition in hospital after being attacked by a crocodile in Kakadu National Park.
The nine-year-old was flown to the Royal Darwin Hospital near Munmalary Homestead, between the South Alligator and East Alligator Rivers, in Kakadu, after the attack on Saturday.
CareFlight NT told NT news The patient was flown from Jabiru at 9pm on Saturday in a stable but critical condition.
“The patient was transported to the Jabiru Community Health Centre, CareFlight’s specialist doctor and flight nurse treated the patient at the Jabiru clinic,” a CareFlight spokeswoman said.
