NNA – Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya reported that two individuals were fatally shot while attempting to assault a courthouse in Istanbul on Tuesday.
According to Yerlikaya#39;s social media post, the man and woman were killed during a security checkpoint encounter at the Caglayan courthouse late morning.
The incident left five individuals injured, including three police officers. The minister commended the heroic actions of the police officers and extended wishes for a swift recovery to the injured.
Situated in the Kagithane district on the European side of the city, Caglayan is a significant court complex.
