NNA – A leader in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) warned Israel that any military operation it might launch on the city of Rafah in the far south of the Gaza Strip would lead to ldquo;torpedoing negotiationsrdquo; for the exchange of hostages between Israelis and Palestinian detainees, according to Agence France-Presse.

He said, quot;Any attack by the occupation army on the city of Rafah means torpedoing the exchange negotiations regarding the hostages who were detained during the attack on October 7,quot; after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he had ordered the army to prepare for an operation in the city, which has become the last refuge for more than a millionnbsp;displaced persons in the Gaza Strip.
