Donald Trump and Allen Weisselberg, the former president’s former chief financial officer.

Allen Weisselberg, Trump Org’s top fiscal officer for 30 years, will plead to perjury, the Times reports. The ex-CFO allegedly lied on the stand at Donald Trump’s civil fraud trial in New York last year. His plea is expected Monday in Manhattan; Weisselberg has served jail time and now faces more.

Allen Weisselberg, Donald Trump’s longtime, loyal top moneyman at the Trump Organization, is expected to plead guilty Monday to lying on the stand during the former president’s civil fraud trial in New York last year.

The former CFO, who already served 100 days in a New York City jail, now faces additional jail time, according to multiple reports. Weisselberg’s plea deal was first reported Monday morning in the New York Times.

An attorney for Weisselberg, 76, and a spokesperson for the Manhattan District Attorney’s office did not immediately return requests for comment.

Danielle Filson, a spokesperson for the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, told Insider that Weisselberg surrendered to their office Monday morning to face new charges sometime before 1 p.m.

“We will not have any additional information to share until after his court appearance,” she added.

Trump’s attorney-turned-nemesis Michael Cohen told Business Insider Monday morning that he “absolutely” expects Weisselberg to face jail time, but had no details on the plea deal.

“Like everyone, I’m waiting for what the repercussions are going to be for Allen Weisselberg for lying yet again,” Cohen said.

“He absolutely faces jail time,” he said. “He’s pleading guilty to a perjury charge, including the fact that he got sweetheart deal the first time around of a near 100 days.”

Weisselberg has been a principal witness in three of Trump’s most dangerous court cases.

He — or at least his paperwork — will be key to Trump’s upcoming hush-money criminal trial.

Previously, in early 2023, Weisselberg served more than three months for admittedly running a complex, decades-long payroll-tax fraud scheme at Trump Org.

More recently, he was a key witness last October at Trump’s Manhattan civil trial, in a case that uncovered a decade of fraud in the company’s annual financial statements.

It is in this testimony that Weisselberg allegedly downplayed at least his own role in the fraudulent exaggerations a Manhattan judge found Trump used to secure $168 million in loan interest breaks.

News of Weisselberg’s plea negotiations was first broken by the Times one month ago.
