NNA – Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, on Tuesdaynbsp;received a phone call from British Foreign Secretary,nbsp;David Lammy, during which relations between Lebanon and Britain and the situation in Lebanon and the region were discussed.nbsp;
During the phone call, the British Foreign Secretarynbsp;said: ldquo;This is a critical moment for stability in the Middle East. There can be no more delays, the fighting must stop now.rdquo;nbsp;
The British Secretary also stressed the need for all parties to urgently and immediately de-escalate.
