Andy Cohen shared a heartfelt message with his fans on Sunday in reference to the devastating shooting at Club Q in Colorado Springs.
On Sunday, the 54-year-old reality personality wrote to her 4.9 million followers that her heart was broken “for the victims of Colorado.”
“It makes my blood boil to think of the many, many elected Republicans who spread hate against LGBTQ people on a daily basis and then wash their hands of these attacks,” he wrote on his Instagram story.

‘The end result of dehumanizing an entire group of people is violence. Always.
‘We still don’t know the names of the victims, but I feel like I already know them. They could have been my friends. I hope next time they won’t be my friends (heartbroken).’
Authorities say that on Saturday night, Anderson Lee Aldrich, 22, entered a gay club in body armor just before midnight and opened fire with an AR-15-style assault rifle, killing five and wounding to 18 before he was arrested. minus two ‘heroic’ backers.

“His actions clearly saved lives,” Police Chief Adrián Vásquez said at a news conference Sunday morning, noting that another firearm was found at the scene.
Police did not give any information about the motivation behind the attack.
They say it’s too early to determine if the shooting was a targeted hate crime.

Authorities remained at the scene of the Club Q shooting in Colorado Springs until Sunday morning.
At least 18 people were injured after shots were fired inside Club Q (pictured last night) in Colorado Springs just before midnight, a police spokesperson confirmed.
Anyone who witnessed the shooting or has video footage of the attack should also contact police.
FBI agents are now assisting Colorado Springs police with the investigation, which Lt. Pamela Castro told reporters is in the preliminary stage.
The mass shooting has led politicians to cross partisan lines on the issue of gun control, as Republican gun advocate Lauren Boebert said: “This lawless violence must end and end quickly.”
The FBI’s Denver office confirmed on Twitter Sunday morning that they are assisting Colorado Springs police in the investigation.
On its Facebook page, a statement from Club Q said it was “devastated by the senseless attack on our community.”
Aldrich is now in protective custody at a local hospital for unknown injuries. The Colorado Springs man was previously arrested for making a bomb threat in June 2021.
Numerous victims, some in critical condition, were transported to three nearby hospitals. Medical facilities are currently working to notify families of the conditions of their loved ones.
The attack comes six years after 49 people were killed and 53 injured during a mass shooting at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.
A memorial was installed outside the gay nightclub on Sunday, with bouquets of flowers at the site.
