A street performer in Athens, Georgia, suffered heavy losses after a drunk girl broke his piano stand and stole some of his tips.
In a viral video posted by @theandrewshoe to his TikTok account, Shauntae Heard is first seen approaching his setup, slamming the keys of his piano and leaving the stage.
She then returns to his setup and hits the keyboard again, dropping it to the floor in the process. The panicked performer and other spectators try to pick up the keyboard when Heard secretly steals some of his tips and runs away.
Her friends are also seen laughing in the background for the camera and encouraging her to behave that way.

As Heard pushed his keyboard to the floor, Andrew was heard saying: “What’s wrong with you?” and after she stole his money, he was heard shouting, “Hey, hey, hey!”
Later, after Heard had successfully walked away, a group of people began helping Andrew pick up his keyboard and reset it

“So these kinds of things happen here and there, so I usually keep playing through it, but after what was about to happen, I had to stop.”
As Heard pushed his keyboard to the floor, Andrew was heard saying: “What’s wrong with you?” and after she stole his money, he was heard shouting, ‘Hey, hey, hey!’.
Later, after Heard had successfully walked away, a group of people began helping Andrew pick up his keyboard and reset it. A man is seen tipping him a generous amount to compensate for the stolen money.
The video has since been viewed three million times on TikTok and shared across multiple social media platforms. Viewers were able to identify Heard and began ‘attacking’ her online.
The attacks went so far that Heard had to apologize on her Facebook and Instagram and ask people to stop harassing her aunt before deleting those accounts.
Screenshots of the apology are being shared on social media, in which she said: “Public service announcement. I’m sorry to anyone who saw the viral video.”

‘I have taken responsibility for my actions. I know it was wrong and ignorant of me, but please keep my family out of it.
“Your problem is with me, not my family, texting them or me won’t get you anything and I have already apologized to the person we spoke to. Everything is fine, no, I didn’t steal any money and I didn’t break the piano. I’m human, just like all of you.
“I’ve seen worse downtown, this is nothing compared to what I did and I know it’s not good. The person I apologized to accepted my apology and we had a very good conversation on the phone and that’s all that matters, you people are mean, the way you text me and my family and create fake pages, you all get nothing From that you all will continue to be blessed,” she added.
Shauntae also shared a screenshot of her texts with Andrew on Facebook Messenger, where he said, “Hey, I accept your apology.”
“I told people not to bother you, but I can’t control what happens, so that was my way of stopping people from coming to you.
“However, you need to know that actions have consequences and while I am sorry that people are bothering you, you need to take your own responsibility.”
He added that he “wasn’t mad at all” when she hit the piano the first time, but was “quite confused” the second time.
Her apology has also been widely criticized for its lack of authenticity and her attempt to downplay her mistake by saying she has seen worse things in the city.
