NNA – Egypt warned the Hamas movement of the necessity of reaching an agreement regarding hostages in exchange for a ceasefire with the Israeli occupation army within two weeks, otherwise the Israeli army will conduct a maneuver in Rafah, according to the Wall Street Journal.

According to Sky News Arabia, Al-Aqsa TV affiliated with the Hamas movement, quoting a senior leader in the movement, said on Sunday that ldquo;any ground attack by the Israeli enemy army on the border city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip means torpedoing the exchange negotiations.rdquo;

He added: quot;Netanyahu is trying to evade the entitlements of the exchange deal, by committing genocide and a new humanitarian disaster in Rafah.quot;

The New York Times quoted a senior Western diplomat in Cairo as saying, ldquo;Egyptian officials urged their Western counterparts to inform the occupation army that they consider any move to force Gazans to cross into Sinai as a violation that would effectively suspend the 1979 peace treaty.rdquo;
